Il corso, della durata complessiva di 60 ore. Nella prima parte del corso si approfondisce le modalità di approccio al caso clinico, la prospettiva di un trattamento psicofarmacologico e la possibilità di integrare un approccio psicofarmacologico ed un intervento psicologico. La seconda parte del corso di Psicologia Clinica- Applicazioni è un corso di approfondimento nella pratica della psicologia clinica negli ambiti che NON prevedano una qualifica di Psicoterapeuta. Gli ambiti che verranno approfonditi sono quelli che concernono aspetti riabilitativi, preventivi, psicoeducazionali ed anche psicogiuridici rivolti sia al singolo che al gruppo.
Obiettivo del corso è quello di mettere in grado l’allievo di progettare semplici programmi di intervento psicologico. Lo studente che ha superato il corso dovrebbe aver eseguito un approfondimento utile per affrontare la seconda e terza prova dell’esame di Stato.

CHARACTERISTICS OF COURSE, PREREQUISITES, OBJECTIVES
Students who enter this course should have already passed the examination of clinical psychology. Students should therefore be able to identify and distinguish a psychological disorder (good knowledge of the DSM-IV-TR and the principles of differential diagnosis are prerequisites).
The course is ment to be a bridge between the theory learned in previous years and the professional practice, for that reason will discuss clinical cases and the methodology of intervention. The course, lasting 60 hours, is divided into two parts. In the first part of the course we discuss the characteristics of a psychopharmacological treatment and the possibility of integrating psychopharmacological and psychological intervention.
The second part of the course in Clinical Psychology-Applications is an in-depth course in the practice of clinical psychology in areas not requiring the specialization in psychotherapy. The areas that will be studied are those that relate to aspects rehabilitative, preventive, psychoeducational and psicojuridical intervention, directed both the individual and the group.
The course aims to enable the student to design simple programs of psychological intervention. The course helps the student after graduation to address the second and third tests the State examination.
EXAMThe examination a multiple choice test on psychopharmacology and requires the presentation and discussion of a term paper (25-40 pages) on a topic agreed in advance with the teacher involving the project of a psychological intervention. Some possible topics for these essays are listed on the site of Prof Rovetto www.rovetto.net. On this site you will also find a wide selection of topics given in different sessions of the state examination . The essays will be sent to the teacher via e-mail, at least 10 days before the examination, The essays must refer at least 5 different sources and cite a simple bibliography.
