Principali argomenti trattati:
Il DSM-5 ed in generale il tema della classificazione in psicologia clinica. Le principali forme psicopatologiche del bambino. Le demenze, le dipendenze patologiche, i disturbi di ansia, i disturbi somatoformi ed i disturbi dissociativi, i disturbi psicofisiologici e la psicologia della salute, i disturbi dell’alimentazione, i disturbi dell’umore, la schizofrenia, i disturbi di personalità. Il programma seguirà l'indice del testo proposto e la esposizione si baserà molto sulla descrizione di casi clinici.

Course Objectives: 1) knowledge of the characteristics of the main diagnostic categories in DSM-5. 2) Ability to perform simple differential diagnoses. 3) Ability to participate in multidisciplinary teams that address topics related to mental illness, understanding the terminology, the areas of intervention, and the possible interactions.
Main topics: The DSM-5 and the issue of classification in clinical Psychology anticipations about DSM-5. The main topics in child psychopathology. Dementia, the pathological addictions, anxiety disorders, somatoform disorders and dissociative disorders, psychophysiological disorders and health psychology, eating disorders, mood disorders, schizophrenia, personality disorders.
Exam
Written exam with multiple choice questions and some open questions.
